What is Website Design?
Think about your church building. When your church was built you decided whether you wanted brick, wood or tin. You chose paint colors and the placement of restrooms and Sunday School rooms. You decided if you should have carpet or tile and what colors. This is the design of your building.
Just so, the design of your site is the way it looks, the colors you choose, where your menus are and where you place your information.
Be sure the design of your site portrays the true image of your church and congregation. Use photos actually taken on site and of real members instead of stock photos grabbed off the Internet.
We offer two options for your website design:
| 1 | Template Design Templates are just that. They are premade designs which your content can be added to. Choosing one of these is an easy and fast solution to getting your site on the web quickly and easily with a minimum of decisions to make. Do remember that these are not custom designs and that others may choose the same design that you have fallen in love with. That is OK! By the time local photos, logos and content have been added, most sites will look significantly different even though they started out with the same template. Take a look through our Template Designs and choose one that you like. After you make your choice, your content will be added after which time your site will be ready to publish. This is the quickest and least expensive option. Template designs start at $500.00. The price of each design will be listed with the design photo. |
| 2 | Custom Design You can have a completely unique design by sending us any design preferences that you may have. These include colors, layout, headers, fonts and navigation layout. If you choose this route, you will want to do your research. Look at other church websites. Determine what you like about them or what you dislike. Find sites that have designs that are pleasing to you. Send us all of that information including sites that inspire you. We will mock up one or two designs for you to look at and approve. Custom designs may take several weeks to build because of this process. You don't want to be in a hurry if you choose this option. Custom designs start at $1500.00. |
